This is bugging me. I've already exchanged the RNZAF AI CT-4E's for Nigel's CT-4E (With some issues, from behind there is a large black square where the panel would be. From the front it is transparent. (This doesn't happen when I am actually flying the model)) but I also wanted to swap the hueys for Deane Baunton's model. All I did was changed the model that the aircraft.txt file pointed to (by copy and pasting the title from the .cfg) and now the Iroquois' have disappeared! Is there any reason why this happens or a way to fix either problems?

oh and also why is it that my aircraft thumbnails and names dont match up? after installing the hueys, their names appear, but under the picture of 737's, and the last three aircraft on the list dont show up (i know how to fix this by deleting the panel file but i want to be able to actually fly this model)

any help is greatly appreciated.

p.s. by the time i get a reply to this, i might have already met the commondant of NZ cadet forces, Wing Commander Guy Bendall (he is the reviewing officer for our ATC sqn's final parade tonight) tongue.gif

What SQN are you? I had my final parade tonight and we won the National efficiency award! 17SQN City of Christchurch! Sorry I don't know about your model problems but with the thumbnail thingy, I had the same problem at one stage and near the top there will be matching thumbnails, then it skips one or two and gets the all muddled up... find the aircraft it skips and check it out. Maybe the thumbnail is too big? When I had the problem i just deleted the plane because I never used it...

Helicopters are not recognised as AI.
Use the Stemme air file from the original RNZAF AI Iroquios

The stuff you are using is hardly AI though, we originally tried Deane's model and found it produced a very high overhead, even when stripped as far as possible.

but i thought technically they were just fixed wing aircraft in the shape of helicopters for the sake of fsx making it work. is this not the case? oh and i know the models are far too complicated to be ai but for some reason they dont impact my frame rates which is wierd.

btw, No 1 SQN city of wellington. i think we won it last year. i went on AFE with WO siakifilo and CPL Jung last hols
