For $100 dollers (USD?) it's very resonable. It's on my list of things to get when I upgrade. Hopefully some stores here in NZ decide to get some and sell them.

Wow - things have really come along way since I built my home cockpit! GoFlight offers a similar product and I can attest to the quality of their panels and customer service - although Saiteks offering is slightly cheaper and a little more realistic!

GoFlight Single Engine Control Module

They also offer the above unit combined with Cessna style throttle, prop and mixture controls.

If you are considering ordering any GoFlight products go through Tony @ Digital Flight as they offer a permanent 15% discount on the hardware!!

The thing with peripherals for flightsim is that none appear to be particularly hard to make......the downside is that they dont often have economies of scale on their side (i.e. the less people buy them the more expensive they have to make each unit)

Considering a helicopter collective could just be made by turning a normal joystick on its side, removing the X axis and adding a clamp, a company like Saitek could easily make and market one I think.
