Bill Ortis is a great guy, and a flightsim enthusiast.
Makes a difference when the modeller gets involved, aftermarket.

Damn good review, informative, well thought through, well laid out, well done!

Ahh yes - funny I was reading the review on Avsim (as I have the Viking) not knowing you had written the review , until I read your post a few minutes later on NZFF.

Bill Ortis is a nice guy as I had a few problems (CTDs) with the Viking (it just dosen't agree with my PC for some reason - even weirder is that it goes in USA but not in NZ some of the time). He was very prompt and helpful and offered to refund my money but I got it at the sale of his so it wasn't a lot $ anyway and I am perservering with it.

I dont like the 2d panel much but I dont really care as I am a VC flyer and the VC is quite nice - also I found the aircraft quite a challange (compared to the usual spamcans) to fly at times with it been quite difficult to land smoothly (well on my system anyway) - but I also like that as it dosen't become boring - I note that the real life Viking can bite the unwary.

Must also do a Viking trip in my Snow to Surf tour.
