I have put together a few RNAV approaches for use with the FS9 GPS.
They are for NZKT, NZKK, NZWR and NZNS. The instructions for installing are within the zip file.
Just be aware that there may be variations in approach performance due to differing scenery packages. Also the default position of the NDB and DME at NZKK are incorrect and need to be moved to get the RNAV approaches to work accurately. Once again the read me file within the zip will assist.
I thought that the NZNS approaches might be useful to some for this weekend's VATNZ SNO.
Please try them out and provide me with any feedback. Please state the scenery you are using as well.
It doesn't look as if I can attach them to the post so please PM me and I will email them to you.
Happy flying!
Cheers
Steve

I am not sure about FSX. I will find out and let you know.
Queenstown already has GPS approaches.
I will work my way around those that dont or need modifying. If there is one in particular that is needed then let me know.
Cheers

FS9's default RNAV approaches are only LNAV (lateral navigation) and (correct me at any time if I'm wrong here) only allow straight segments on final approach. The Queenstown approaches you're thinking of (i imagine) feature vertical guidance as well as curved approach paths, so need 3rd party addons if you want to model them in FS9. I'm not sure about FSX

Generally speaking yes only straight legs. The FS9 GPS would not really be up to the task and as you mentioned it has no vertical path guidance. There is however the Alfa and Bravo GPS approaches which are already in FS9.
