On one aircraft, the speed at which the flaps extend is far too fast. How can I change the speed at which they extend so as it is more realistic? (same for tailhook assignment)

Which a/c are we talking about? I take it you mean the rate at which they extend...?

Okay. The tailhook is used for the landing lights that extends from in the wing on the classic series (under one of the flap slats).

Basically on the FFX model the flaps and tailhook extend far too quickly (the tailhook takes about 1o seconds in real life - well on the 737 I was in -SJC)
and the flaps move at about a 1/3 - 1/4 of the speed of the flaps on the FFX model.

I tried changing it in the .CFG but unfortunately I'm not sure that that worked. Can someone point me in the right direction?

Hmm Im not 100% on this but I think this is based on an animation which is compiled with the model (so cant be changed)

Deanb would be the best one to ask
