Hey all, im a keen flyer and work as ground crew in wellington receiving and dispatching pacific blue aircraft and love playing flight sim X. sorry i am new to this forum stuff but i am about to purchase the saitek pro flight sim yoke but there is a couple things i want to ask first..
1: when your flying with the yoke system and you bank to the left can you just let go and the controller will automatically go back to level flying e.t.c?? and
2: on the videos with the yoke system it seems like you have to turn really far to get a responce on the computer? is that true or can it be adjusted ??

CH Flight Yoke , my first finding when first purchased , I had three very opposite flight models , B25 - Capsim727 - RFP747 .. these all preformed within there parameters , it seems like you have to turn really far to get a responce on the computer? no , they feel the same as real or with reasonable idea of whats happening with the aircraft .. the control input to the yoke is built into the a/c model so to preform as close as possible .. this is with most if not all controller,s

if you want a saitek yoke cheap check out gpstore. they got 100 bucks off!

Nice job
I have the CH Products but am looking at getting the Saitek one.
The Ch Products one has a throttle on the yoke box but the Saitek has a seperate.
Haven't tested out the Saitek yet.

Yup the Saitek yoke returns to centre, its a really good controller and I am considering setting another throttle quadrant when I can get FSUIPC running correctly that is.

There's three reviews here that may interest.........
I checked it out yesterday as I'm going to Bangcok in August and know a huge computer complex there. Will be interesting to compare prices.
However, as I'm not interested in the heavies, I'm more likely to invest in a X52 Pro joystick for my GA flying. Anyone with user knowledge of these...?

I wouldnt buy it from Bangkok Mate, if something goes wrong- I dont think they would offer a "Worldwide Warrenty" as such..
Also, the prices wont be any cheaper. Ive been to Thailand twice, and when you buy the genuine goods at the big shopping malls, its just as expensive, if not more than here.

Yeah, I tend to agree....I have also been there several times and avoided buying family members Ipods for that reason. I enjoy walking thru these complexes and this time will take NZ prices with me so I can compare. The days of huge bargains on duty free stuff seems to have gone. Will probably get myself a $5-00 Rolex again, the last couple I bought are stuffed....
