The was 119850 domestic movements at AA in 2007 both IFR and VFR.

OK it's a trick question, because it's different every year...
the rolling total to March 08 is 119,714.
International is just short of 39,000, total: 158,449.
That equates to around one every 3 minutes, 24/7

That's a lot more than my first guess would've been.

Why did Airbus choose the name Airbus for there company? and what year did they give the go for project A300??

Airbus is/was a word to describe a plane with a certain range and capacity. It wasnt trademarked etc and could also a word that could be spoken in French.

The A300 had its maiden flight in 1972 but was first conceived, in a memorandum of understanding, in September 1967
