Saw this piece on the net and was surprised to see how much the guy has spent on the sim. Looking at the photos, it is hard to see where the money ($230 000) went. Even the motion base is not that expensive (about 6000 euros from memory). See that it is controlled by 14 QUAD core computers, so perhaps that is where the money went.

worth clicking on the link about used 747s (full sized ones) for sale too. Where can I put a real one though!!!!!

I remember using one those simulators approved for flight training. It was bigger than that on the link listed.
