Hi there everyone, hope you had a good weekend. I was wondering if anyone could reccomend a good site for explaining a little more about flight terms as i am still learning and need more than just what the fsx definitions have.

At the moment i am looking for a little more info on the switches in my cockpit and what they are for.

Some questions i have are

I have alot of lights available, but when do i use each one? For example, when do i use my strobe lights?

What is 'Ng' and 'ITT'?

What are annunciators, Inertial seperators?

So if you know any sites that explain a little more about the purpose of these and general cockpit knowledge could you let me know. Thanks guys, by the way i will be posting a new leg of my world flight this week, probably around Thursday.

Ill try and help :)
Landing lights- When in the circuit, landing or taking off and a few other times when you need to be seen (low flying area, MBZs etc)
Nav and strobes should be on at most other times during flight and on the ground.
ITT- Intake Turbine Temp
TOT- Turbine out temp
Ng (or N1) is the tacho for your gas producer turbine (i.e. the first stage of a turbine)
Np (or N2) is the tacho for your power turbine (i.e. the second stage)....they arent mechanically connected hence the need for two tachos

an Annunciator is a type of switch/light- I.e. the error lights you see on the (annunciator) panel can be pushed to test and reset them

I'm the lights expert :D
Depending on what plane you're in, I'll go with a 737
Nav lights- pretty much all the time, even at the gate.
Anti collision- before engine start to after shutdown.
Taxi lights- kinda like car headlights, but also used with landing lights on takeoff/landing
White strobes- Turned on when entering a runway, not turned off until after you've left it
Landing lights- Used for takeoff up to 10,000ft, switched on again as you descend through 10,000ft. Don't use on the ground off runways, as you'll blind people :D
