Well I gave installing these 2 a go. I have to say that they were difficult installs. I eventually found and installed the Waikato carrier V3 and Dino Cattaneo's F14B. I even added the upgraded Panel and FED V2 by John J Schumacher. Seemed to work Ok for a while but no meat ball guage. Makes landing on a carrier hit and miss. Eventually the hardened deck gave to way to landing thru it followed by "my flights" starting me up over the side of the vessel. I never could find the carrier from the airport selections.
It is a real shame when installs get so complex and finicky that you just have to give up in frustration. I dont mind doing my share of trouble shooting but sometimes it just gets ridiculous. Some of the read me files just lead you down the garden path dont they???? Oh well delete..delete...delete...

Yes installers are good although some make registry entries which I am a little dubious of. The problem with this particular combo is that the Waikato is up to version 3 yet you are instructed to read through the previous versions for installation notes. The previous are for FS2002 and there are differences. Due to the complexity of the scenery, and how the various guages etc interact, it not as simple as installing traditional scenery.

Simple concise installation instructions would be great and should be pitched at those of us who are a little challenged when it comes to scenery design.
