Questions for the wise ones, but first of all I really want to thank you all for putting up with my "throwing the toys out of the cot" sessions.....and all your patient support, here and behind the scenes.
As of now , I am so happy with where I am .....I'm tweaking here and there, learning heaps. Once I get the SSD space sorted, I'll increase my overdraft and party
The sim was gifted to me , as you know, so to have it running ...I know I keep saying it ..but it makes me so happy.
I'm 100% hooked.....I don't start my work day until 0930...travel time is only 10-15 minutes ( I have a guy who opens up etc at 0600) ...Im up, showered and on the sim or Flightsim to , or here by 0530.

But anyway...my questions, if you don't mind.
I'm running the basic version of 2020, is there anywhere I can buy the 787-10 offered in the premium deluxe version ?
#2, Where can I get the Asobo ATR? and will it work in 2020 ?
#3 Now that 2024 is alive and working, will I be subjected to the updates that seemed to irritate you all so much ? or is this platform no longer supported ?

You call that a tantrum? Obviously you don't frequent a lot of the forums these days.

Jorg did say that the premium aircraft will be sold individually for 2024, I would expect that this would apply to 2020 as well, but so far there's no access to the 2024 Marketplace, so nothing is certain.

There's a Microsoft-branded ATR in the 2020 marketplace at the moment -- I don't know much about it.

Yes, you'll continue to get updates for a while, so you'll be able to join the 'oh sh*t' club one day. Ironically, updates will be fewer, easier* and smaller for 2024. One day they'll pull the plug on 2020, but I would hope to have a few more years out of it.

*Easier is a relative term, in this case it could mean a lot more of a nightmare.

#2: For sale in the Marketplace, you saw it on a banner here once!
#3: They cannot resist, and you must go through the initiation.
There is also still a bit to fix!

I have loads of fun every day, with my MS2020....
... with its collection of default "Ultralight" aircraft....
... the only type that I enjoy using!.... ....!
With all the wonderful low-and-slow scenery on; "MS2020", I'm afraid that my copy of; "FX" has taken a back seat now!
...but; "Market Place" doesn't work for me when it comes to; "buying" stuff!!
It insists that I own a; "Smartphone", with OTP (one-time-password), and type stuff in, for the Bank to verify the purchase!
I don't have a fancy; "Smartphone", and I only use my desktop gaming computer for; "e-mail", and all my; "correspondence" stuff!!
Without owning a "Smartphone", it doesn't work, so I can't buy; "Market Place" stuff!
I'm so very grateful for all the folks who produce "Freeware" products for all we Flight Simmers, as they all did in the previous versions, up to, and including FSX!
So I am a happy bunny with my Ant's Drifter, Auster, Club Crafters wheels and floats, Flight Design CTSL, Top Rudder, Zlin Savage, Flying Fries Monster, Icon A5 etc, Ultralights and Microlight aircraft!
The joys of low-level exploration!........(as the Bishop said to the Actress!).... ... ...!
My only interest in MSFS2024 at the moment would be with even greater improvements in the realistic (photographic); "Scenery"... ...!
So...there you go!

In the Marketplace, in the developer dropdown choose Microsoft/S&H Software. Or just search for ATR and scroll through a LOT of liveries.

Nope...I cant find anything that looks anything like developer dropdown choose Microsoft/S&H Software.

Ahhhhh...problem solved, I cant access the market place via the Sim.
On the FSTo site, I get the "requires download / get it here" notice....but that takes to the 2024 purchase page ....

I don't know, on the sim welcome page, that box is just grey, with "Market Place not Available".
If I go to the Flightsimto page, I can search that market place...but no direct link to the base ATR. I can download a livery, with a link to base file....but that just redirects me to the 2024 and 2020 full sim purchase pages....all a bit odd, but it could just be me.

I wonder if you need to be signed into the Xbox app to access the Marketplace, even though you are on steam. I'm not sure at all how MSFS works with steam, though.

Rob, I got it sorted...all I had to do was enable Data, restart the sim and I was good to go
After all the ATR chasing, I picked up Ants Tiger moth instead
