NZFF

I had to switch to a new phone, and now I can’t find NZFF in Tapatalk. Even on the old phone, the NZFF forum constantly disappeared from the list, but it was possible to add it back from a cache list.

May I please ask to check the forum Tapatalk implementation. That would be very much helpful. Many thanks!

I don't have high enough privileges to install phpBB mods, but I see that Tapatalk is installed - and appears to have an API key:

Tapatalk
MOD version 4.9.8

Are you getting a useful error page of some kind?

I see two different things:

1. On the Android Mobile, Tapatalk Pro V.8.9.6.P
NZFF is not visible on my forum list.
If you search for it, it is not found.

2. On the iPad, Tapatalk Pro V.8.10.1
On every start of the application, NZFF is not visible on my forum list.
If you search for it, it is not found.
But...(!) new posts on NZFF are displayed below my forum list
If I select one post, I am asked if I want to follow NZFF - this I confirm
I then see the post with all details
If I go back, NZFF miraculously has been added to my forum list
If I click on it, it tells me that I need to register or sign in
If I click one more, I am prompted to login which works beautifully.
I can now see everything in the forum and can post

My gut feeling is that the Tapatalk add-on is not the correct version.

The current phpBB version on NZFF is 3.0.14. There's an update for the Tapatalk mod to 5.0.3 (current version is 4.9.8).

Reading around the phpBB forums, it appears installing/upgrading the Tapatalk mod for phpBB is a total PITA, so I'm not surprised if the main administrator for NZFF has given it a wide berth. I'm just an underling - and don't have access to "Automod", which is required for updating Tapatalk.

I can take a squiz at this guys and should be able to update the plugin. I kinda need some input from Dan on a couple of other hosting related things but haven't been able to contact him, if anyone has heard from him lately or knows how to get ahold of him could you direct message me please
