Latest FS2020 Update - Controls MUCH Improved
Hi all,
The latest patch for FS2020 has introduced a couple more sliders to the controls sensitivity settings. One allows you to adjust the extremity of the deadzone, something I haven't played with. The other is called "reactivity" and after reading some forum advice I turned the reactivity right down (by default it is set to 100% - I set it to 40% for elevator and ailerons and 30% for rudder) and it has seemingly *finally* solved the issue of the aeroplane oscillating/spiking/twitching when you start to apply big control inputs. I'll need to play around with it some more, and you definitely still need to have the overall control sensitivities turned down quite a bit from the default value to avoid it being very twitchy but I was able to fly a circuit in the default 172 and I could actually rotate for takeoff and flare for touchdown with a positive back-stick application like in real life rather than having to basically make tiny two-fingered adjustments to avoid overpitching.
Let me know how you guys get on!
