What will you do with your $50 million?

All over NZ tickets will have been bought for the Big Must-win Prize draw tomorrow night.
The odds are somewhat stacked against you, but what is your dream?
I will dish out to needy friends and causes, then fund a pet project that needs at least $20 million seed money.
After that?

That is a ridiculous amount for a single person, but I guess I'd manage... I have three kids, and I'd enlist them all to decide what to do with it. I suspect that sitting on it for some time would be the best bet. All I need is a couple of million to build my dream house, and give me a good lifestyle for the few years I have left. I chose the section a long time ago, it is only $230,000, but with unlimited funds I could buy the adjoining sections to prevent my house being built out. I have a house plan in my head, evolved over a long, long time. The main features are a living area which opens to a deck, facing north over Lyttelton Harbour. My bedroom opens to the Heads, where the sun rises, and adjoins an office/studio, with the same view.

My kids are all clever enough to do something worthwhile with their share. I suspect they'd do okay by their mother, although I hate the thought of her latest, much younger husband getting any benefit:)

Needless to say, I'd have a very nice sim for the winter evenings.
