Using MESIX1E I found it so tight that couldn't pick up glide slope for airport.
Was MESIX1E - KABGO - GUKAM - BOLUB - ALBAD - F102
now MESIX1E - KABGO - GUKAM - BOLUB - CH419 - IDUBU - ALBAD - F102

As a footnote , why do so many airports have dogleg approaches. Nice straight entry would be much easier and less work?

If you would like an ILS you need to pick the correct STAR and approach. The MESIX1E leads into a shortened RNAV approach which with the right aircraft is just as easy as an ILS.

For trip from Wellies have a look at the MESIX6A for rwy 02 or the MESIX7B for rwy 20. Both will lead you onto an ILS

The ILS for 02 is still slightly shortened with the intercept at ALBAD which is an 8nm final

yep MESIX6A was fine , picked up glideslope and autoland no dramas thanks
