Hey guys
After being inspired by lowerellyex's screenshots, I want to get into flying military Jets. Are there any FS9 communities out there that bases themselves around military jets (like hovercontrol does for helos basically)??

There are several military clans that use FS such as:

and
http://www.raafvirtual.com/
also check this thread out:

Basically for a combat enviroment FS isn't really the ideal sim as the electronic warfare and the A/A A/G modelling isn't as good as other software thats available.(laughable at best) If you are only interested in flying non-combat missions then FS might be what you're after as far as a Squadron to fly with like the above links. However if you want to get into combat flying dropping bombs/dogfighting etc then check out Allied Forces or lockon. Flying with an online Squadron can be quite fun at times it reminds me of fishing. BTW if you at all decide to try the combat option then be sure to check out my Squadron, just click my sig.
cheers

Thanks for the response SUBS. Basically I'd just like to fly this sort of aircraft on VATSIM- I don't really have an interest in missions. I'll check out those links though :)

have you had a look around ivao/vatsim fourms, if they don't why not sugest it to them to have a fourm topic for militery ops.... I'm sure there lots of other simmers interested in flying online with msfs in militery jets ae. I'd certainly give a F16 a whirl online with ya sometime :D

I mainly want to learn the actual procedures for flying a flight in a jet. Some sort of knowledge base would be helpful

Are you using FSX monkekbdg? (Sorry, I see at the top you're using FS9)
