Need help

Hi all,
I recently moved from FS2004 to FSX SE and also bought the Majestic Q400. That's a lot to take in, esp as I've also never used a virtual cockpit. In sum, I could use some help. Is there anyone who is using the Majestic Q400 or in general is up to speed with using a virtual cockpit in FSX who I could visit to see either or both of these things in action, as well as any other recommended software you might be using? I'm currently living in Foxton Beach but travel regularly to the Hutt and up to Wanganui. I can't help but feel that an experienced simmer could put me on track a lot faster than my current trial-and-error efforts, which are tedious to say the least. Can anyone help? Thanks Rick F

Sorry Rick I don't have the Q400, also Christchurch based here but I'm sure there is a couple in Paraparumu that maybe off help.

Rick whilst you are waiting for local help you might like to have a look on you tube. There are many tutorial and help guides there. Just put Majestic Q400 in the search and you will be away.
Are you able to navigate your way around the VC at all? Have you looked at the keys used for view commands in the FSX control settings?

Thx for the input. I contacted Majestic support and they came back quickly with some comprehensive advice which included downloading the post-purchase patch for the Q400, without which various problems were occurring. I'll also follow up with some intro internet advice on managing a virtual cockpit and see how we go from there. I can see what they mean when they say that you can operate the pro version with 2d panels but you probably wouldn't want to, so many panels to manage.
