A double great bloody morning .. the four off us together all in the same field - Me Greg Gary and Marty .. Just Great !

.... now your books ... See look WOW .. I've gone thru R.G. Smiths autobiography, funny , he was so close to watch I did, engineer or ex-engineer only trouble he had contacts, just about every book I have here has one of his paintings in it but not as dynamically put all together, tho a few errors I directly pick up the editor should have .. aircraft names and the USS Ranger .. Ooophs it was a Yorktown Class .

I then hooked into Micheal Sharpe's book, I did notice it was a little water damaged in transit maybe from overseas, page 150-151 was glued together, good trick to free something like that is a clean sheet of A4 fold it in half and then very softy jigger it very fast and comes apart nicely - be sure its fast , I left the sheet for you to check later on, Its a great book covering all the artists over the periods , even Bill Yenne is an artist rather author .. his B-52 sweet.

Going into Adam Tooby .. In the cover page ! To Marty from Marty 12/25/2015 LOVE IT! ... This book is really quite amazing , Adam uses Auto-cad, damn expensive program but if he works for AIRFIX that program can be used to make 3D mold's for plastic extrusion, then adding and Adam uses Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator as we were talking about this morning so rather using computer models I hand then put it thru Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator.

So as you said , keep my style or else everyone's work would look the same .... A BRILLIANT INSIGHT tho I serious need to study Adams .. WHOOPS ! Your book

I do , however blame you for making me buy that laptop!.... your place is too close to PB Tech ..... called in to look for a $20 3.5 drive ....and walk out with a $500! laptop , but it was down from $750

Glad that we could all get together, it was a good occasion for all. I have to blame you Marty for making me spend more money. After looking at Adam Tooby's book I came home and looked it up on Book Depository and found that I had clicked to buy! Funny how that happens, really looking forward to getting it. Most inspiring.

I think maybe I should say thank you for tempting me like that!!

Crikey .. this place is a cause off lotta going over budgets ... I still really have to study this book further, .. but I seriously recommend it to anyone, its one of those books that if your feeling crook but can't lay down , sit in you favourite spot inside in the sun by a window and just stair at the paintings, your batteries will recharge without you even realizing it.

@ Greg , money well spent i think (the book) I dont often inspire people .
And Ian .... next time it will be direct to your place (see ya on sunday)

That s a Wodger . no need to set a time simply just drive thru , read all three art books .. they really do cover the field .. dang pleased you gave me a chance to look at them.
