Just curious to know if the default (Orbx) Christchurch cross runway is activated on your guys fsx??? Here on my fsx no matter how strong a North wester is. The ATC wont select me for 11/29 and I cant change for that runway...? does if need to be manually activated? and how do I do that...?
Thank you

One off the Dorky things with Flight Simulation and this also works with the weather , over the years building Christchurch airport scenery I gave up regard to our nice North-Wester winds .. this is were FS is a bit off a dead donkey.

Nope, I didn't include the xwind for NZCH but I can do that now for the P3DV3 installers. The downside is that the ATIS will callout all the fake runways needed to make the crosswind work.

Thanks heaps for the reply. Guess realisim goes so far on fsx, when you want to get picky, a lot of things do pop up. Have you ever managed to get the cross wind operating?

One other thing that will kick in, they have already extended the back off Pound Rd awaiting for the runway lengthening , how many more well known airports end up with this, well known we cannot even get a true weather report , dose P3D show this affect? .. the N/west sky .... I'm guessing no.

What about the Northwest skyline , natural visual affect is a lot different to the computer made stuff.
