Hi all,
As a loyal member of the Fletcher FU-24 Fans page on Facebook I couldn't help but see a post containing a video of something very cool: a simpit built up using a Fletcher cockpit.
Watch on youtube.com

Brandon Reade ended up with the cockpit of Fletcher ZK-CKA after it was scrapped at Hamilton and proceeded to use it - including the original throttle quadrant, stick and flap lever - to create a turbine Fletcher or Cresco simulator. There's at least three different computers running this in P3D, the "view outside" is on three 42" TVs...madness. Amazing madness! He has a blog about it here: https://crescoproject.wordpress.com/about/

This is too good not to share. I've thought about doing this with my own Fletcher (ZK-CBG) many times, but here's someone who's actually gone and done it. Bravo. >nzflag<

I think he's in Rotorua. Drop him a line via the blog perhaps?

I'm glad you all like it, it blew me away! I'm glad something of the Super Air Fletchers survived. I was p*ssed off when they were scrapped, I'd asked them beforehand if they had any time-ex/scrap parts.
