I stumbled upon this, on a search for local sim hardware options. Savern Rewiti is a long-time part of the community, producing some killer NZ scenery back in the day. His thesis is 100% flightsim-related, I have it on my e-reader at the moment, but haven't finished it yet...

Good spotting , this will be a heavy reed for many but interesting details and facts.

I think it comes down too .. breaking down New Zealand flight Simulation and can it be used for the real world so between you and me least we are in a thesis, continuous working on the early builds rather fizzle out , strange .. look at the time starting , date right back to 1998 , I have not had the chance to read it but Phillip Middlemiss would be the very beginner that inspired me and course Clive Ryan with his Palmerston North scenery for FS 2000.

Reading through a lot off this, it is one hell of a read , only going thru page 80 .. very intense .

Very sure Savern did a few scenery's around the 2000 period or least added to projects .. looking thru the paper it really is very comprehensive .. but learning as for trainee VFR and Nav .

Yes, along with Deane Baunton and Shayne Butler. He also did Wanganui, Feilding, the Maui oil rigs and Tararua wind farm, Waiouru, Kapiti Island for FS2002. And a sub-Antarctic NZ islands for FS2002 and 2004. Probably forgotten one or two as well.
