Hello everyone! My name is Eric Kollat and I am the Director of Events at Virtual United Airlines. I want to tell you about our HUGE event coming up on Sunday. It's called Fun N' The Sun, and we're featuring it with the Houston ARTCC.

The biggest party on VATSIM will take place from 2300z to 0300z on July 21, 2013. Houston Air Traffic Control will be offering real world operations, including a ramp controller to handle gate releases and gate assignments.

You can also win prizes! FS2Crew, Blueprint Sceneries, Aerosoft, Commercial Level Simulations (CLS), REX weather, and many more organizations will be providing prizes. Flight Level Radio (http://flightlevelradio.com) will be providing Live DJs for this 6 hour event. They will also be announcing winners for the prizes Virtual United is giving out every 30 minutes!

Register for the event: http://bit.ly/1390Ht6

Just come and register with us, and fly the event! It's going to be a blast!

Virtual United is currently offering all pilots that join in the month of July with 10,000 of our reward points (vUnited points). For every pilot that flies in or out of the event, we are rewarding them with 5,000 for each flight of our reward points. And wait, that's not it! We are also offering 2,500 more points for pilots that schedule their flight on the Houston ARTCC website: http://bit.ly/1390Ht6. In order to win those 2,500 points though, you will need to email our Vice President of Community Affairs (mharasimowicz@virtualua.org) with a screenshot showing that you did. In total, you can earn 17,500 reward points! With these points, you can buy cool items such as a customized aircraft checklist or a 3D banner of your name in our pilot shop.

We want YOU to enjoy this event with us. Join us on Sunday while we fly into our out of Houston (KIAH), or George Bush Intercontinental Airport and have a blast! Don't forget to register on the Houston ARTCC website (http://bit.ly/1390Ht6) to be eligible to win a prize!

We hope to see you there, and we hope to see you with Virtual United sometime soon, too. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to email me. I can be reached at: ekollat@virtualua.org

Thanks,

Eric Kollat
