Fully covers NZ. The only info they don't show is MSA related stuff. I find them very useful and the coverage is great.
Yeah , great linkbut for the peoples who fly along following map point position and get a little lost - don't have that extra screen beside them .. even i love flicking the map enroute .. they could also screen copy and print , .. for the laptop boys they can have a folder .. again mentioned on the desktop in a folder were simply flip a page , today download a file and get it printed and covered copy from the local copy center makes it easier for the average simmer
COOL
The idea here is to get the information as easy to use for all only running off a laptop without disturbing a flight for example .. easier to open a book/folder sometimes than turning another PC on ....
now updates , this site would be very handy to UPGRADE the maps

Like the idea tho Ian of having these available, would there be any legal issue with sharing tho?
Dean , currently scanning now , probably take most the weekend/week to modify and put not on the (would there be any legal issue with sharing tho?)- be the same as skyvector for real Navigation , they are out of date - dated 2007 but strangely my originals done those twenty years back STILL find the beacons in FS .. as you can see ideal for clocking onto Nav .. NDBs- VOR/DMEs and as shown .. easy to turn the page as you progress in the flight .
cowpatz wrote:QUOTE (cowpatz @ Jun 21 2013,2:51 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>What have you got there Ian? Looks like a whole base operation....PC's and mice everywhere? Thought I was doing well with 2 screens and a laptop with WideFS.
Double Naught Spy Stuff , nah just the 'Operations center' .. mice , that what "Marsbar" is for - to control them , very minimal - mild compared to some of the setups i have seen ..want that sorta thing type with the extras .
Need the space to plan and AGN .. But you can see the Logic with an A4 Map folderdeeknow wrote:QUOTE (deeknow @ Jun 21 2013,3:19 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>Nice one Ian !!!
Oh hey, do my eyes deceive me or is that a 3.5" floppy sticking out of that PC !!?!?!?! dont tell me it still works ;-)
YIP .. ONLY .. for the 3.5" dose work .. only gone out off service .. replaced with the new Camera . ... still used tho ! .. Only 2 PC'2 have the option to flop a floppy

I was hoping to have the New Zealand IFR chart at least on disk by now but one off those things were the scanner (requires room for the swap files) at 200 dpi-res , so bit of a cleanout on the PCs . Then needs to be expand due the map size and edited - I did'nt bite off more than i chew just making it easy for folder use .
