Hi all,
I'm sure we're all aware of the painful lack of classic turboprops for FSX. Oh, sorry I should add, I'm not talking about those bush planes with the PT-6 engines...(well, I love those too...). I'm talking about the big PW or CT engines and 25+ passengers. Also let's forget about FS2004 conversions and outdated blocky VCs...
What about a real FSX ATR 72, SAAB 340, BEECH 1900, DASH 8, or (most importantly) FOKKER F27????
The only high-quality native FSX models that I know of are the Captiain Sim C-130 and the PMDG Jetstream 4100. What's so scary or complicated about turboprop modelling in FSX? We have Accusim now, scenery with 2cm resolution, complex FMCs and weather radars, but still no turboprops? And please don't tell me that there wouldn't be a good market for it. Half of the world's domestic air traffic is run by turboprops...
Just breath.....just breath....inhale....
Anyway, there was a certain developer team. They were pretty keen on turboprops...But they vanished...They're called Dreamwings Design...
AND NOW THEY ARE BACK AND PLANNING TO BUILD FSX MODELS!!!!

I find it pretty exciting, I sure hope it's something serious! We might still have a slight hope for a nice FSX turboprop.
