Thought you were good with balsa wood? These are aluminum, made by a gent in Hawaii named Park.

He's the dentist, I recall now.
6,000 hours went into the Corsair.
But he wasn't quite satisfied, so he built another!

What a coincidence i was looking at the website of a guy who does the same thing last night : http://www.rojasbazan.com/walkaround%20models.htm. You can buy replicas of his models here http://www.fineartmodels.com/fineartmodels.com/Aircraft.html , bit to dear for me though! (US $15,000 for the corsair!)

Obviously not married, no kids and no life smile.gif
Exceptional workmanship and dedication. I still haven't even managed to put together my RC quarter scale RC model that I bought 8 years ago and it is an ARF (almost ready to fly) as well!

Isn't that the ideal Flightsimmer or are we all refugees from family and work related stress ? No "Hushmookundy" in sight and we let our emotions fly above the electronic clouds...
