It's a cool piece of kit no doubting it, but I'd hold fire for a bit personally.

Have played with them a few times and have an ex-colleague who was doing development with the platform. There are still wrinkles to iron out and I think it'd be worth waiting for the production model when it comes out. The challenge I see as a simmer (apart from motion sickness, which is being addressed incrementally but still not perfect) is that you can't see the meat-space controls while your wearing the goggles.

Mouse and joystick you usually have a hold of but what do you do when you feel the need to go for a key press for something, which is really common in the flight-sim right? Not everything is easy to access in the VC. No doubt there will be a s/w fix for this, a floating keyboard in the view, or some popup menu thing. Be interesting to see how people adapt to it.
