no mention of WHAT squadron. ive never heard of any ATC squadrons having simulators. not in NZ anyway... oh wait, the seller is in W[h]anganui. i know a few people from there.

I'd love to build a sim for our unit... these just use hydraulics (i use the term loosley) to move the capsule according to the control movement. a bit like an IFR sim without the IFR instruments.

I was interested at that price , humming and harrring but being realistic , id have to move outside biggrin.gif , i tried on that was at the Yaldhurst Transport Museum many years ago , not sure it condition now or it works .

Palmy used to have one many years ago. I don't know if they still do or not.

My friend used to use those in ATC quite cool although strictly just a boring simulator they have movement according to the pilots input and the instruments used to work as well although no display so its quite difficult to get the same effect as what you have with FS with visual representation of the terrain and sky good for teaching the basics though.

Sold for $2141. Interesting piece of kit, would be cool to own but I couldn't hide it from the better half!
