Shes a fantastic bird. Got to be careful though. The realism mod logs all of the abuse so stuff starts to fail after a while, just like the real thing. Got to be careful at high altitude, in fact if you look at the third shot, N2 and NR have sagged slightly after Ive increased torque. Its not me abusing it, thats just what its like in real life. Ive been at max all up weight at 9000ft and have had do running takeoffs to get off the top of hills! You can get into LTE, VRS... all the vices that the real machine has.

QUOTE (Adamski @ May 27 2011,2:56 AM) I'll have to add my vote. Great atmosphere. Yes ... it's just an aircraft and loads of cloud, but it's still a great shot. I quite often put the aircraft onto a/p and just go outside and watch the show. I have REX with real weather, so it's always different. I like the way you sneaked a bit of terrain in, lower right! Marty ... that's the *green* stuff /laugh.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= border= 0 alt= laugh.gif /> /laugh.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= border= 0 alt= laugh.gif /> /laugh.gif...

QUOTE (connor @ May 26 2011,3:48 PM) Search C-130 here and you'll find it. /smile.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= :) border= 0 alt= smile.gif /> Yay .. thanks for the plug, Connor - much appreciated! Sometimes I think I'm the only person to use that site. I have such a terrible memory these days that I often look up aircraft that I thought I had installed (but maybe removed in some over-zealous pruning). I try to keep all my paints in FSX exclusively /New_Zealand_etc.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= >nzflag< border= 0 alt= New_Zealand_etc.gif /> ......

QUOTE (Bugdani @ May 26 2011,7:25 PM) Love the plane but not landscape /cool.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= B-) border= 0 alt= cool.gif /> I'm always intrigued as to how differently we see things. Genuine question here - what didn't you like about it? Your shots are always incredible - so your opinion would be valued. I don't think Marty/Splitpin will take it negatively - his screenshots a re always incredible as well ... just what one "artist" can say to another "artist". Our NZ snow looks like that in Real Life ... honest!!!...

the panel's unusual but, after a little scrutiny, looks to actually be very practical. Other than that, the 'Safir' has always been on my 'toget' list.

QUOTE (Ian Warren @ May 26 2011,3:00 PM) Cloud 9 , the Phantom was the in its time the best off the best , pre FSX it was announced they were to upgrade the model , they reneged on that - I now have to go though another company simply to get my key working , currently FS9 is not installed , but that Phantom is the first to be . Yeah, that was sad.......fs9.....and gone.

QUOTE (Olderndirt @ May 25 2011,1:54 PM) Call them cylinders - the pistons are inside those /smile.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= :) border= 0 alt= smile.gif /> . Good point! I do understand basic aircraft technical theory, honest!
