Wow Adam that one made me blink - it belongs on the masthead for the whole month, so much to see! It gets a week only ;) then back to the random banners. I'm using GSX a lot now - and have to say I'm amazed at how much detail they cram into all their systems & animations. I often sit there and do the whole works, catering, icing etc. before the usual boarding and refuelling etc.

QUOTE (Ian Warren @ Oct 8 2011,11:16 PM) The MR-2 , weird , i was drawing comet airframes back at Avonhead Primary school , yip the wing has not changed and the fuselage , well something borrowed . Same here Ian....but at another school....i loved those things on the end of the wings....they looked like "little comets".....what were they anyway....?

QUOTE (cowpatz @ Oct 8 2011,1:29 PM) I spent a good few hours in ZK-DUL back in my GA days. With it's solid Beechcraft feel and club seating layout it was a sexy beast. The only drawback (if it can be considered one) was it's less than stellar shortfield/grass performance If I could've afforded one of those, chances are there'd also have been something for STOL. One friend in Alaska, a former AAL pilot, could do miraculous things with his flush riveted BE35.

QUOTE (connor @ Oct 8 2011,8:06 PM) The thing that troubles me with glass cockpits is that every one is different, a slightly different twist on the same story. /winkyy.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= ;) border= 0 alt= winkyy.gif /> You get in an analogue cockpit and its all familiar and the infrmation is delivered in the same way. Analogue over glass any day for me. /cool.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= B-) border= 0 alt= cool.gif /> This one is a blend of both and, after lowering my seat and moving the panel closer, I find it a very comfortable scan. QUOTE (Ian Warren @ Oct 7 2011,4:54 PM) Connor , its the latter .... when taken screens , Marty is under a cloth standing on one leg holding a tray off gunpowder so as to get the right shot at the right time in the right light right on the time the shot was taken , this is due to system requirements , the one shoe and whether or not he is going to keep the gunpowder dry for that very shot , hence you may say he would have his hands full so to speak , we are trying to get most on this forum to get quality screens and if not getting the two outside engines started is what it may take...

Yep if it does end up being a closed sim with no ATC or airliners etc.. and all the other bad rumors come true, it would sure be nice if they made a paid service pack for FSX so we could enjoy all the new lighing and atmosphere effects.....

Yeah thanks Marty , Just figured what the hell Charl and AndrewJ was going on about ... silly me , Course Lockheed /Vega built a large portion off the Boeing s during WWII actual fact was the group that introduced the chin turret 'F' model .
