Wow Adam that one made me blink - it belongs on the masthead for the whole month, so much to see! It gets a week only ;) then back to the random banners. I'm using GSX a lot now - and have to say I'm amazed at how much detail they cram into all their systems & animations. I often sit there and do the whole works, catering, icing etc. before the usual boarding and refuelling etc.

Well Milviz will be coming out with their J series at some point so that might supersede the CS model. Although I do like the old analogue nature of the early H series etc.

Yes - well done - hoping to see some screenshots of your Milviz acquisition soon! Well I gotta confess ...What a surprise Thanks for the votes.. Now to think of a screen topic so cunning you could pin a tail on it. :D Don't forget to look up the old banners/themes here to see what's already been used. Adam.

That is one cool shot. Love that hangar. It's so real. I spent many hours with my arse parked in a Cutlass. It was decked out fully IFR and was mainly used for IF training. I was never really inspired by the engine tone. It was quite raspy and coarse and always seemed just a few RPM away from coughing and quitting. Never did but just sounded like it was going to. Not a comfortable feeling when in IMC, or worse at night, but I got used to it's tone in the end. I wonder how much head scratching was done trying to work out the undercarriage geometry needed for retraction? It was not a well...

Do a search on YouTube for old navy/miltary training videos (using the Harvard). There are some good ones on how to avoid ground loops plus some basic aerobatics help. Adam. Thanks, will do that. My closest approach to a ground loop yesterday occurred mainly because I forgot I was landing with a reasonable side wind component. Always learning . . .

Well that has sold it for me. I have been using EZDOK but as you say it has some issues. Odd things happen from time to time with no apparent reason. One example being on the Carenado Aerocommander I have set up a couple of wing views with dynamic movement. Oddly the RH view has movement but the LH view doesn't even though the settings are exactly the same. The centre mouse wheel also gives issues from time to time. It is still a great product and one which was much needed at the time it is just a shame that the developer seemed to give up on refining it. ChasePlane seems to be the next step....

Superb lighting on that beauty, Marty!! I wanted to have an "Achtung! Spitfeuer!!" theme for this month's comp, but Uncle Doug shouted me down, saying not everyone will have a Spitfire on their system. Well ... they bloomin' well *ought* to have! Adam.
