Wow Adam that one made me blink - it belongs on the masthead for the whole month, so much to see! It gets a week only ;) then back to the random banners. I'm using GSX a lot now - and have to say I'm amazed at how much detail they cram into all their systems & animations. I often sit there and do the whole works, catering, icing etc. before the usual boarding and refuelling etc.

Tom - Great pic and insider info. Probably saw you at Wanaka, but only because we were both there at the same time. You were at work, as I recall; I was at leisure

Hi Adam Yes I do remember it. If I recall correctly it was the day we were lucky enough to go for a flight in the Tiger Moths. We also looked over the "Polish grasshopper looking thing" which you were particularly fond of. Not completely sure but I seem to recall they started the Cri Cri with a wraparound pull start. Just like an old lawn mower regards Bob

Heya Rob, with GSX you can now define and place safedock units. Granted they're not as accurate as the SODE addon claims to be (can define AC specific stop positions), but it'll do in the meantime :) Well, see, I didn't know that. Thanks! That certainly works, and is easy to set up. I guess those with GSX would need to tweak the distance for their favourite aircraft... As always, my parking is atrocious, whether I use a marshaller or VGDS. I'll have to figure out how to stop GSX always telling me how poor my skills are. I can take it from a marshaller, but from a dumb box on a wall it's a bit...

I'm such a sucker for the "old" TEAL colour scheme. So much classier than the black abomination, IMHO! Great shots! Haha yeah i agree! Thanks for the comments!

I think the Hurricane has a charm all of its own. I was digging in the veggie plot once back home in Gloucestershire when one flew over. Unknown to me, the owner lived a mile away - and then proceeded to give his family a full-blown low-level display. Hard to forget, that one!!! You may have to add some more shots ... I'm about to change my screencomp entry LOL!

JMBIII , I think that's the case ...he's over it :P Thanks for looking, just a shame I can't centre the aircraft in the test flight mode ...only way around it is to join a battle, then you get all the angles you need  Anyway, thanks for stopping by

Meanwhile I have "made a lot of flights" and the problem is for me to find the enemy and get always the view on him at the fight. In 1 vs 1 okay but in a dogfight with more aircraft it is difficult. On one mission shot down the personal Ju 52 of the "Führer."

Looks good from that angle  . How does it look when it catches the light? Have you checked your PM's (I sent a link with the finished prop textures)? Adam.

Cheers Adam ...the non flying ones look a bit odd. Some of the reskinners have different ways of doing them ....this one looks like a model. If you get your self into a battle, you can record it , and you will get access to a lot more cameras. I dont know why we cant record in the test flight mode. I jump into some of the custom battles , but steer clear of anyone else .... and just take screenshots, works most of the time :) But now and again I get shot at. That Sunderland screen I posted the other day is an example ...I suddenly "beamed " into an ongoing fight ...but no ocean ( I...

Cheers CP... IRL that would be fairly dangerous. The Jungmeister has just finished his waggle to starboard in the taxi, and will now turn the other way. The photographer is down on one knee, where: 1. The pilot will not see him and 2. Where that beautiful wooden prop is about to be Only in flightsim... :)
