Duh - just realised after I submitted my post, that I need to remove the old Orbx NZ Mesh ... result - buildings are now at ground level. Have downloaded the new Christchurch Airport. Wow, it's great. But my FPS is taking a bit of a hit.

I'm looking FWD to ChCh too, but gonna need a few pay checks worth of discretionary before I grab that Am pretty disappointed with NZHN though coz unless something went wrong during the WU12 it looks mainly like they did an AFCAD only update, there's some runway/taxiway texturing and markers but other than that some totally vanilla buildings and not even partially representative really. Shame, hopefully someone picks it p as a freeware or even payware location one day Just re-read the press release, so Hamilton has had a City mesh makeover I guess, TIN (TRIANGULATED IRREGULAR NETWORK)...

@Aharon a lot of stuff you might be able to access is geo-fenced for us, we often cant get to shows or movies on Netflix or Amazon etc that northern hemisphere markets can get I suspect so. At least Jankees solved the problem for you by showing you the link for the famous desert scene in the Hitchcock film that I was talking about. But if you have not seen that movie, you should see entire movie. Regards, Aharon

Last generation MiG 21bis/SAU. We had them in the inventory from 1973 till the end. of the GDR. It was the most numerous fighter of the GDR from the MiG 21F-13 to this one.

Hi Thanks for the comments Nope still using FSX as I am now retired and cannot afford to "upgrade" to a faster PC. Most of the photoreal is FSET which I am still using, in fact I am currently downloading another part of South Africa. FSET is available (for now at least) at no cost at resolutions down to 0.25 M in many places. I usually download airports from the usual suspects Avsim, Flightsim and Simviation although I do have some payware including Orbx, and Megascenery for the US and some European countries. Yes I do have an interest in geology although my rock collecting days...

I have a huge hangar full of 1:72 models here, WWII fighters. I still enjoy it and now I collect more of the exotics, prototypes and machines that are not as well known. The P-51A and the A-36 which was a derivative of the P-51A are in this category. With the Royal Air Force, you always have to be very careful with the camouflage painting when the transition from earth brown and green to ocean gray and green occurs. In the phase of transition, there were both variants in one Squadron. These machines in the picture belong to different squadrons, as can be seen from the first two letters of the...
