Progress has been slow lately, with not a lot of clear nights. I moved the scope down onto the driveway, which helped a lot with the image sharpness, but the first time I installed the EQ wedge I just couldn't get the thing to align. Alignment depends on the mount pointing to the celestial south, so the scope points due north. Turns out I just can't get my head around the direction of North. Part of my autism makes it very difficult to translate directions from a map, and it still doesn't make sense to me that when I look straight across the valley here, I'm looking due north. But by ignoring...

All right. The hint has arrived. I'll only post things that won't embarrass anyone, especially forum owners. I've just been here too long for that... since 2007.

Sorry for the delay CP. Its actually a full on tertiary training course for trained people working in the clinical massage field. The venue is St Andrews village retirement complex (they must have a venue for hire), in Glendowie , or close by.

Same with me, SP. There is something unique about ANZAC Day. A day of remembrance for those who serve, have served and those who made the ultimate sacrifice for the freedoms we have. Never, ever forget those who didn't come back and the number that are still listed as Missing In Action. At least with a microwave, you've always got something to watch if there's nothing on the tumble drier or the TV :D Watching stuff... I always find it very relaxing to watch the water boiling in my new 2 kw Electric Kettle! Much faster than the water in the saucepan for my Potatoes! ...and as for Paint Drying... :o ... :unsure: ...! I've never got around to buying the new-fangled, snazzy "Air Fryer"... ..I'm still a happy bunny with my trusty Gas Stove (4 Gas Burners + Gas Grill), and Gas Oven for all my daily Cooking needs! It's amazing how many choices there are on Amazon...

Emfrat, that is indeed true. The "younger generation" don't do anything for me at all. The 'in crowd' are much better to be with because of the age thing.

Age must catching up with me, I forgot to mention the set of drawers that hold all my Scale Plans, Top Drawings and Mushroom Single books..not many, probably another 200...I think :rolleyes:

Yeah, Square Home comes with some lookalike Windows phone widgets, but these are not that reliable, so I tend not to use them. And of course all the apps are Android. Yes, I know it's an Android phone at heart, it just looks so much better though.

Day one of the new carpet is done and 3 quarters complete.... just the living/dinning area to finish. Big shout out to Carpet Kingdom here in CHC... Mark and Taylor ...amazing service....kind and considerate. Should all be done and dusted tomorrow, and I and Sam can get every thing back in place over the next few days.
