  I can make landings like that without any help from crosswinds :nahnah: Seriously though, I am sure the larger AFS2 jets can do that - this is from the IPACS forum "The advanced autopilot in the airliners uses the track and thus can easily account for crosswind conditions. The a320, b777 and b747 should be able to autoland even in crosswind." I’m sure there’s limitations in terms of crosswinds etc for autoland. For us in the ATR we hand fly at least the last 500ft if not earlier.

Being a keen motorcyclist, and all my rides governed by the weather, (similar to Private Pilots), I am always fascinated by our clouds, with all their different names, types and shapes! Like our lovely old Moon, the clouds above us in the sky are always fascinating to observe! I spend a lot of time looking skywards, which sometimes leads to collisions with stationary objects! Paul...with Lucy in the sky..with diamonds!... :D ...!

The same from me...>> :hesaid: We all should take care of what we decide to release to the general public on the Internet! I double-check everything that I type before I post it to make sure that I'm not giving away details which should remain private to me, and anyone else who I decide to send it to! We give away far too many details of ourselves on the Internet nowadays... :ph43r: ...Which cant be deleted!! I'm sometimes guilty of that... ...! ...it's a scary old world out there!! Paul...hiding in a hole somewhere... .... :UK: ...!

Thank you Mike. I have been in this forum for so many years now. And I'm always happy to meet you" even though half the world is between us. There is a book that always comes to mind when I look at today's politics... "Shogun" by James Cavell He lets Prince Toranaga (Tokugawa Ieyasu say) "A rebelliousness against the lord of the state is unpresentable, unless you win." I have the feeling that something is brewing throughout the European Union. You can't explain it, but you can feel it. That concerns me.

Great stuff Marty. You deserve a good rig. Glad to hear you bit the bullet so to speak. I also had a good look at the 5700 AMD but ended up going Nvidia 2600 Super. I did get a 3600 GPU which is a step down from yours but will do me ok Be keen to hear how it goes.

There were many pranks pulled on Chuck, that is what some of those unusual test aircraft were such as the flying flap jack and the flying saucer(that is 2 out of 9). Chuck's P51 Mustang is his 2nd favorite aircraft, his favorite is the SR71. Blackbird.
