well you should care, because it's going to be $1bn of our taxes to build this stadium. imagine how many more police and better health services that amount of money would give us... True, but we'll pay regardless. Though with councillors who think Carlaw Park an option, you would have to feel sorry for the rate paying jafas.

If someone dont have the means to pay you can not force them but even if you did threaten legal action chances are (certainly) will cost YOU more in the long run. ok, i see what you're getting at. you're saying that if someone can't pay, then it's best to forget it and relist, rather than pursue them for the price. taking it to the disputes tribunal etc is too much of a hassle. certainly, that is the practical reality of selling goods on trademe. but if it was, say Air New Zealand buying a 787 from Boeing and Air NZ didn't pay up, you can bet that Boeing would pursue...

You lucky lucky man!!! Any chance of a pic thru PM?? I got a few covert ones ;) As with Westpac, it wasnt so much there sim (which Ive done before and when its fully set up its quite cool. They have more screens that they attach on for a complete cockpit), it was just their set up, I wanted to talk to someone about their new chopper but there was no one suitable. The Chopper flies well, Ive got it on my sim. They have repainted it a bit tho. Its on if you want it, along with the Police Eagle... ~KAG~

I could conceivably download two high def movies in one night, but I'd have to wait a month to do it again! yeah, it's less about the speed that you can get with NZ broadband, it's more about the size of the file. if your ISP allowed you to download it without it counting towards the data limit, then it would be great. but if it counts towards your monthly total, it's of no use- you'd only be able to do it once a month, so no investor would bother. i have an episode of the late show which was filmed in high def. its been compressed, but it still looks fantastic. high...

lol Looks like a P3 engine in that shot anyways. That was on the initial scounting mission I believe. I think perhaps an Invercargill based airline will be doing the flights... yes they can be there are genric icebergs in the fs9 library that can be placed or if you really wanted to go for it you could make them up as AI then program with traffic tool to move bloody slowly across the water !! Awesome, thanks for the offer! I don't think we would need them moving, but to be able to fly over them at all would be real neat! Do you know of any other location in the fs2004...

Well we had our cable installed today and I am like :D :D :D :D :D There are only two things that I dont like so far but these are far outweiged by the speed of it. 1) I have no idea how much of it I have used. 2) There are like a billion lights flashing at me at the moment on both the modem and the router, and its made even worse that they arent flashing in sync with each other they're all flashing at different times  Lcukily the instructions have come in handy for once especially with them having about 10 languages as I have put them up infront of the modem and router so that I...

my keybourd's don't have a credit card swipe Oho Ian, what a concept! You realise you've just described the Next Big Internet Thing? Now: your keyboard or mine?? Oh yea of little knowledge :D Those keyboards are already available  Not in my house if I can possibly avoid it. At present they have at least to heave themselves out of the chair to go and swipe the card, down at the store (for those not-online-purchases). Think of the astronomical gym fee costs if that last little bit of exercise were to be removed from their lives. Everything "new" that is shoved...

 Great vid! Where I am from in Southern England, we have a (friendly) rivalry with people from 'up north', and we are always making fun of them, so I really appreciate the humor there. Anyone seen the Month Python 'four yorkshire men' skit? Also, I am not sure if any of you will approve of this, but if you share my sense of humor then check Borat out. Also MoonTV , a kiwi skit show which screens on TV2

Must say I haven't had much of a handle on the Intel product line of late. Moore's Law said that processing power would double every 18 months. Well that's no longer the case, and I suspect they hit a brick wall in the production of thinner faster cooler silicon. Most chips now run at under 3 GHz and rely on either multithreading (Good for simming) or multicore (Not much good for simming). But if you paid money for a Pentium-D Intel dual-core processor you have been robbed. This from the latest PCWorld: They ran super-hot, performed poorly and were merely a stop-gap measure......

I'M not really in a hurry at the moment to get FSX,I'll just wait until all the hoop-la and smoke clears then make a decission. What I will do for the moment is sit on the fence,I know the feedback at the moment is good but its early days yet and at the moment I'M having a ball on FS9.There's one other reason also.My current computer runs FS9 just great, but I doubt if it would run FSX to the same extent,so therefore I would have to build another computer to cope with that.I can wait 12 months if I have to ,by that time the price of motherboards and processors would have come...

P: Noise coming from under instrument panel. Sounds like a midget pounding on something with a hammer. S: Took hammer away from midget.
