Great pics, thanks for posting Derek- reminds me very much of Rarotonga. That river flood looks really intrepid, just the sort of experience that makes traveling overseas a memorable huh?

QUOTE (Ian Warren @ Jun 29 2008, 05:54 PM) With many other OS XP was the one to buy to fix many problems , of the shelf $ 600 NZ , and later a new PC , $ 130 with the new .. strange .. VISTA has so many problems .. reminds me of WIN95 /laugh.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= border= 0 alt= laugh.gif /> home user beware .. sorta like retro FS95 .. then came 98/me ..who what and whatever .. Vista has many problems? I disagree, and as I said before I've been using it continuously since early 2006, on a range of machines from my home desktop PC, through a number...

After a lot of hassle with Einfotech, I finally got my money back and spent it on a Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX33 down at Parrallel Imported today. It turns out that PI actually had all four cameras I had on my shortlist, although only two of them appeared on their website- however, I had a talk to a guy there who explained the pros and cons of each one, and the FX33 came out on top for my needs- plus he threw in a free UK/NZ power socket converter and carry case for me after I told him I was going on my OE, which he had just returned from himself /thumbup1.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid=...

Yesterday I drove from Visalia, up to San Francisco (Oakland to be precise).. so I know where the fuel is going /laugh.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= border= 0 alt= laugh.gif /> The SFO freeway at 10.30pm on a saturday night was like Auckland rush hour /wacko.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= border= 0 alt= wacko.gif /> But to be fair, Americans drove 20 billion LESS miles last year than the year before.. so it's places like China and India creating the demand now. (places with little oil themselves)

Yip that all sounds pretty good. Only point I was making is that the bigger cars do not always have bad fuel ecomomy. The old ones sure did, no question but as technology marches on, fuel economy will get even better. Some one posted in this threa and wished me well when it comes to paying for fuel for the new car I have coming later this year and I just wanted to point out that they are not that bad. As far as the WRX goes, my friend told me how much fuel he used and I was a bit surprised so perhaps he has a lead foot. /smile.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= :) border= 0 alt=...

QUOTE (Christian @ Jun 19 2008, 04:00 PM) I just converted to Flock, so I'll have to wait until the FF3 goodies are ported over. I love PicLense though, I had it for a few weeks now and still use it, so it's not just a gimmick... Christian I've had a go at enabling the images from my site -- to check it out, visit my news page , scroll down to thumbnail at the bottom of the left-hand column labelled 'This site is PicLens enabled!' Someone without PicLens should try it as well, and tell me what happens. QUOTE (Alex @ Jun 19 2008, 04:51 PM) That's...
