QUOTE (creator2003 @ Jan 19 2012,2:04 PM) A mate sent me this link about flying Dc3 around this area, you guys mite enjoy the 25 mins watching Thanks -- I've watched this a lot, but the only version I had was in french, which isn't my strong point. I was thinking of taking a flight like this when/if I get to Colombia next year, but the Colombians said I'd be crazy -- I'd probably come back in a box, if I came back at all. Oh well...

QUOTE (Naki @ Jan 15 2012,8:51 AM) Love Tintin comics...they have a lot realism where you can actually identify the cars and aircraft....was the aircraft on the movie a Norseman? Paul I also grew up on Tintin... it was a little scary I always thought, quite Grown Up for a comicbook. And I'm sure Herge would have approved of Spielberg's treatment - the gesture beautifully captured. Realism: of course, I thought it was an Otter at first, but I'm sure you're right, it was a Norseman. QUOTE (AlisterC @ Jan 15 2012,12:42 PM) ... I saw the movie in 3D as well, and...

QUOTE (scrubcutter @ Jan 10 2012,11:28 PM) Hmm, a parallel to Teutonic Humour about earthquake bombs, i.e. it was the captains fault that the Tirpitz was stationary in a fjord? It did move a little bit , turned turtle ... they were as surprise to have the Lanc,s overhead as we are with mister wobbly,s all the time .

QUOTE (towerguy @ Jan 9 2012,9:01 AM) to save money we could combine the airforce and the navy and use A320's - with an outboard in place of an apu - it's been proven they float. Arrr the ARBUST canoe ... and with luck convicts on board and typical snap , sinks and all 320 con's , good idea !

I was part of a booking for 18 done by our travel club organiser who always pays for us, and we had to beat them down to only one person per room having to provide ID! The "88" in their restaurant name is reputed to mean the number of dishes...

Strange you don,t here happenings in Welly , CHCH was as i mentioned the sedate spot , we don,t feel the mid range unless its moved again but this is a new series , don't affect me other than souring cost due to damage .. Welly was known as that and a century off it , you brought into it , CHCH was .. EQ never in this world but that,s turned turnip .. its the different margin and area it affects over the entire region , I feel it now , but have had the shake all year , these recent are different .. this is were i say its going to POP , another destructive whamo , said to Matt , Lets hope...

That certainly brought a smile to my face; I really enjoyed watching the reaction of the crowd - probably more than the actual show it self.
