Very nice. What does he use for filming? Haven't watched episode 2 yet but caught up with 1 - the military/Police presence in LIma must be somewhat daunting for a Kiwi.

Realistic-ly , only thing missing is a whoof of dust and tumble weed roll past ... the old (Millers shopping)CHCH council building off five stories looked like sometime out off a Soviet WWII war movie and waiting for a sniper rifle pop out from one of the every second broken window .

Pilot X is another good read. I have the ebook, half of it is up on his website. Doesn't seem to be updating anything but what's there is very readable and ever so slightly different to Captain Dave ;-)

QUOTE (Splitpin @ Mar 1 2012,9:57 AM) Thanks Connor....your right, Im really pushing the old fuji with shots like that. Frustrating when you can see the perfect shot in your mind....but when it arrives...well.. /dry.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= <_< border= 0 alt= dry.gif /> I wouldn't be too disheartened, photography is like FS in the way it can be a bottomless pit to suck your money into, except it is much, much more expensive. /cool.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= B-) border= 0 alt= cool.gif />

The same "officials" are said to have noted the following, regarding the Cessna 172: The single propeller has cooling as its primary function. When it stops, pilots are invariably seen to break out in a sweat!

QUOTE (deaneb @ Feb 24 2012,7:45 PM) The F27 at Woodbourne is the ex NZ Post plane which had the accidental wheels up on the ground several years ago. They stripped it of parts and the fuse sat around until the Base Fire guys started to use it for training. It was later painted the RNZAF grey. Cheers Deane....more pieces in the puzzle.
