Well, if you have ever watched the Terminator movies, and believe that mankind discovered how to travel through time, then I reckon Sam Altman (Open AI and creator of it) should have been assassinated by a "Sarah Conner type" around 4 or 5 years ago. With autonomous robotic fighting machines, drones and the US military adopting AI to counter a hypersonic missile attack response (Humans too slow to respond.....think Skynet) then maybe the movies are prophetic. A bit dystopian for a Sunday morning so time to fire up the flight sim for a VFR sortie, then bunker down for the Bathurst...

Never seen one, and missed this one (both trips) only through laziness. It always presents as such a massive thing, but really, a B747-8F is a bit bigger. Must be the low stance/high wing/T tail that gives it that look.

I'm due for another visit. He has so many of these things, it would take years to rotate them all through the exhibit. I also plan to return, think maybe not for the airshow though.

Had a spin in the Mig-29 this morning...so I guess I'm back. Slowly re installing my existing purchased stuff. The whole thing so far has consumed over 300Gb, and it runs well....and I'm still down 8Gb of ram, no complaints here. Replacement ram will be done this weekend.

Be afraid, it's only a small bit of what AI can do for you... Loved the guy sweeping the parquet floor, antique even in its time. Hope you managed to follow the BBC voice over, 1930's style. Ektchewally. :D

Progress has been slow lately, with not a lot of clear nights. I moved the scope down onto the driveway, which helped a lot with the image sharpness, but the first time I installed the EQ wedge I just couldn't get the thing to align. Alignment depends on the mount pointing to the celestial south, so the scope points due north. Turns out I just can't get my head around the direction of North. Part of my autism makes it very difficult to translate directions from a map, and it still doesn't make sense to me that when I look straight across the valley here, I'm looking due north. But by ignoring...

All right. The hint has arrived. I'll only post things that won't embarrass anyone, especially forum owners. I've just been here too long for that... since 2007.
