Yeah doing it by hand is a big job. I’ve done it many times. It’s always satisfying when it’s finished. Glad to see you were keeping up your electrolyte levels whilst you were doing this important work. Thanks CP , I'll use a buffer on a drill for the rest of it. It is satisfying to see the result. I'm not sure about the hydration...had I have carried on I think there may have been an , enthusiasm vs ability problem. Seasons greetings CP to you and yours...take care.

Wow !!! Paul that's impressive .. you musta seen a fair share of the virtual 2020 globe by now then? Lately I've spent more time fecking with AI setups, creating my own wee scenery projects etc more so than flying. Gaming wise I think the most time I've spent last year or so actually playing has been in the game "No Mans Sky" >buck<

Charl, I use PayPal in the same way. My Paypal account is always empty, until I authorise a payment. I have read some T&C documents but they need to treated as politicians' speeches - question every word to see what meaning is attached to it. Most of them are as tricky as Escher's best drawings.

Hmmm…. That’s what’s stopping me moving to MSFS2024 - very poor copper internet connection with.no alternative possible except for Starlink - but I’m not so sure about making that regular financial contribution…..

Star Rob ! Amazing. When I look at these, everything that I think is important...suddenly isn't so much. We are just dust in the wind compared to all that. Love your work my friend .

Well, if you have ever watched the Terminator movies, and believe that mankind discovered how to travel through time, then I reckon Sam Altman (Open AI and creator of it) should have been assassinated by a "Sarah Conner type" around 4 or 5 years ago. With autonomous robotic fighting machines, drones and the US military adopting AI to counter a hypersonic missile attack response (Humans too slow to respond.....think Skynet) then maybe the movies are prophetic. A bit dystopian for a Sunday morning so time to fire up the flight sim for a VFR sortie, then bunker down for the Bathurst...

Never seen one, and missed this one (both trips) only through laziness. It always presents as such a massive thing, but really, a B747-8F is a bit bigger. Must be the low stance/high wing/T tail that gives it that look.

I'm due for another visit. He has so many of these things, it would take years to rotate them all through the exhibit. I also plan to return, think maybe not for the airshow though.

Had a spin in the Mig-29 this morning...so I guess I'm back. Slowly re installing my existing purchased stuff. The whole thing so far has consumed over 300Gb, and it runs well....and I'm still down 8Gb of ram, no complaints here. Replacement ram will be done this weekend.

Be afraid, it's only a small bit of what AI can do for you... Loved the guy sweeping the parquet floor, antique even in its time. Hope you managed to follow the BBC voice over, 1930's style. Ektchewally. :D

Glad you enjoyed it, Paul. I was born in Clydebank in 1949, and we lived there until 1959. I remember on my way to school, there were just big gaps in what had been 3 or 4-storey tenements, only the gable ends with wallpaper and fireplaces still to be seen. On my first vist to NZ Christchurch, it looked so familiar. It wasn't until the late 1950s and early 1960s that the Labour and Conservative Government Councils moved in, and all the ancient, Victorian building devastation and rubble were finally dismantled and removed, and the Towns finally got cleaned up, and the place looked clean and...
