The cockpit is a far cry from the original 1980s design , not sure if they were used but a Christchurch printing firm was working on the displays , they were printed and as thin and lite as a laminated photo .

I get all my work done by this big guy at Omaka ..... he's a bit of a wild bugger, but his work is top notch /thumbup1.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= border= 0 alt= thumbup1.gif /> so I'll give that mob a wide berth.

QUOTE (IslandBoy77 @ Nov 13 2012,9:16 AM) I guess Ian will know the date of the first "proper" in-flight refuel? Arr Pete you tease me , as CP pointed this was 1921 , back then they even got out on the wing strut to change the oil ... ole Smithy ( to the uneducated 'Charles Kingsford Smith') had a crew member do that very feat over the Tasman , think he happened to be a crazy Kiwi called Charlie Ulm ... only thing they did'nt do mid air was wash the windscreen of the bugs .

Thanks, Bazza and Ian. Been in contact with my ISP and after an extensive series of pings/trace searches et cetera have determined the problem lies with my IP address being blocked by Avsim. My IP address is static; will turn off the modem tonight for 12 hours to see whether it creates a new address upon start up ... if not, well ... Can access Avsim via zendproxy, of course, but that exposes this rig to all manner of security issues.
