hhaha how funny, I've actually seen this cockpit for real. It's at the Southern Utah air museum. Nice place, I had a good time. Sat in a F5 cockpit and had my photo taken. A few photos on this page of how they got hold of the B52 cockpit.. I wasn't allowed in the B52 at my time of visit due to "national security or something".. /tongue.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= :P border= 0 alt= tongue.gif />

QUOTE (AllanJames @ Feb 11 2013,11:37 PM) Well for all of that I flew up, did the VIP thing, and enjoyed the day. The use of the big screens was a worthwhile addition. I took my 5 year old son - mainly to catch up with my friends crewing the NH-90 but also to introduce him to his first airshow. For us it was a good length as after a few hours there he was ready to leave. The display was a bit disjointed with long waits between acts. According to a workmate in the know the Warbirds were booked to attend but were absent due to a scheduling mixup. The big screens were great and the...

QUOTE (Bazza @ Feb 1 2013,8:24 PM) Unfortunately for a new low hours Pilot, it seems to be conceded that the Stearman was "a bridge too far" - to coin a phrase (politely.) /winkyy.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= ;) border= 0 alt= winkyy.gif /> That was one point noted by the authorities ... why the HELL was he aiming the plane in weather like ... noted on that day regard the crash in the paddock - Arrogance ?

I'll call you 'Dan Quixote' from now on, Dan, single-handedly improving the quality of Youtube... You make some good points, though. But Youtube is open to anyone and everyone, so the quality spread is always going to be huuuuuuge. I still watch the odd flightsim video on Youtube, but I must admit that if they don't grab me in the first few seconds then I'm out. You've mentioned the worst offenders -- wing view vids should be illegal. But 'theme of the month' videos are just as bad, too many me-too stuff whenever something new appears.

QUOTE (IslandBoy77 @ Jan 27 2013,11:15 AM) Perhaps he's in the middle of a "scissors" yaw to the right, and is about to flick back over to port and drop the nose? Or maybe his guns jammed? Or he's out of ammo? Or the 190's mate is flashing down out of the sun just starting to open up on him? Or he's low on gas? So many scenarios... /cool.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= B-) border= 0 alt= cool.gif /> Pete /biggrin.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= :D border= 0 alt= biggrin.gif /> Its a combat drawing .. as Capt Piccard ..
