QUOTE (Charl @ Apr 21 2014,11:16 AM) Yeah... around the 2 minute mark he wussed out: he rolled 110 on the left leg of the zigzag, and then came back through 0 for the follow through. Mine go all the way through 250 for the exit. And as SUBS points out: 100 ft lower /cool.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= B-) border= 0 alt= cool.gif /> Afterward, I walk as if I just got off a pony... Actually... in the video clips archive I have just such an item, involving transit from NZQN to Milford Sound in an A-4K. "Afterward, I walk as if I just got off a pony..." /laugh.gif...

When the first shakes happened I started measuring them using a glass off water and levels marked on the desk, earthquakes really are intriguing and measuring the spill give an idea how workings go with, tracing different directions and feeling and comparing , reporting everything to Geonet , great sending info and help.

QUOTE (SeanTK @ Apr 10 2014,1:04 PM) I'll let you know if it says anything about the airshow coverup as you requested in the Tu-144 screenshot thread. Would be interesting to find out if they become more forthcoming since opening up to the west, I still recall the crash on TV and the photo on the front page off the "Christchurch Star" newspaper back in 1973, I have a small article about it, but was written pre 1989 so it is very cloudy and also the French authorities got no answer even back then.

QUOTE (emfrat @ Apr 9 2014,10:15 PM) All said 'Welcome Back' in their own way - I'm intrigued by the irony of posts about your good self being in the 'Off Topic' thread /tongue.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= :P border= 0 alt= tongue.gif /> Mike , you no the best thing , Mars was my closest immediate family, he was here and there all the time, outside that was you guys, I can handle my own brain case damage and broken bits but the death of that one cat really almost killed me - you no what i mean.

Here's my favourite - sad to say, no-one marketed Steam Loco Jelly. In 1938 the LNER A4s were faster than many aircraft.

QUOTE (Splitpin @ Apr 9 2014,12:34 PM) It appears to be ink (not printed) i can bring it over some time and you can examine it. That would be great, I'm sure it will be personally signed, easy to check with light.
