QUOTE (s0cks @ Jun 3 2014,12:11 PM) Surely some stuff would float. An entire plane and no floating debris? At the very least something must turn up on a coastline somewhere you would have thought. That depends on how it went down its ALT and the angle of attack and impact - possible one reason they will not see it and who's to say that is where it stopped in the first place - .... ocean moves things in so many different ways - another example of what maybe left was an MD/80/DC9 type impacted the ground and made the thing left looked like confetti. Some aircraft come down left in...

As usual I shut down for the night (far too much stuff restarts for updates in the wee small hours otherwise) and lo and behold this morning all is well. Even daringly toggled the Num Lock no problem, so sorry Marty, no sale. Another couple of days use and this keyboard will have paid its way. /biggrin.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= :D border= 0 alt= biggrin.gif />

I have seen some Classics , done the main south rd (state hyw1) pedal to the metal looking the other way giving the bird (the finger) In saying that I have seen on two seprate occasions two that cut themselves in half , the last was the most gruesome .. 50 feet of entrails and he was still alive for 15 minutes. That teach's you ... old saying is " the one that that gets ya is the one you don't see"

Ben did you have any photo of it , I built one from a set off plans from the mid 1980s , engineering wise was not much to it .. same sort of engine used on the V1 (doodlebugs) of WWII , the things we played around with pre computer days , figgen thing was lethal tho and I never got it into a model aircraft ... I would like to have a look at this, who made it ?

QUOTE (towerguy @ May 25 2014,1:40 PM) Yeah, I finally got P1ssed off waiting for a plumber to come and install the downpipes on the new extension to the house. Water been going everywhere for a couple of months, the only thing flowing thicker and faster are the excuses why its not been done already, so I went down to Placemakers, bought the bits and now the house has been plumbed. What it cost me extra in buying retail I probably more than made up by not having to pay a 'tradey'. Primary is look after that sim- cockpit .. Least you know the work done can be trusted ......

Arr don't worry Sean, trust me we have them next door in Christchurch too ... Rick my avid hang glider pilot told one off his girl friends for day were going up on the port hills summit rd ... grab a tea towel and out run it thru one ear and out the other ... (only a 30 minute drive) She said "What there is a road up on those hills " /ohmy.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= :o border= 0 alt= ohmy.gif /> ... that is true /blink.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= border= 0 alt= blink.gif /> Had to chuckle at some of the comments ... Think it's bloody lunacy that this person was granted residency here. Yet only in the last year or 2 we've seen people working their ass off being a productive and important part of communities, being deported.
