If you scaled it up to RL size, it would be too heavy to get off the ground. In my early railway modelling days, a project to build a loco to exact 4mm scale produced something which collapsed under its own weight. I'd love to build another plane but I have no financial wherewithal to do it! The last one (Van's RV-8 fastback) I didn't get to finish due to marital separation. I had pretty much the entire airframe built, and was about to start instruments, avionics and engine.
