It's been gloomy here in the Hutt all day, and steady rain since the afternoon, but I don't think it'll get bad at any point. A standard day in the Hutt then Rob :D

I am just wondering who it is I should ask, not to blow up Doha while we are in transit there. There is no travel insurance covering cancellation due to war.

What's a B.A.R? Surely not the US rifle? No photos worth sharing as yet. I have low expectations from my stuff, but there are plenty more talented folks out there who have released terrific images.

Okay, instead of complaining, let's do something for the forum again and be active. Currently, I'm "flying" in MSFS 2020, as usual. I'm spending a lot of time with the new Dornier Do 27, which you can find at simmarket. The implementation is decent, and most importantly... it's the first Dornier Do 27 I can remember... since 1990. Furthermore, I've switched to the "Professional Edition" of the analog Caravan. Compared to its predecessor, it's somewhat refined, and the engine's characteristics have become a bit more "strict". For my "fun instinct," I...

Wow, I admire your patience Astro Rob, looking forward to seeing more star stuff. Re the world ...I agree , its not good. I've had a similar travel offer, but to Japan in November but I respectfully declined for similar reasons. I really don't go anywhere these days.... everything I need or want to do is within 20ks of home....and online of course. My work environment has increased my situational awareness considerably , it can be very volatile at times . That awareness extends to basic stuff like being at the supermarket, gas station etc. I don't go near shopping malls anymore (never enjoyed...

I’m not usually an audio book person, but it certainly helped pass the time when I was doing a major clean of the flat after the kids had finally moved out. Somehow it made the experience more immersive than just reading.

Yeah doing it by hand is a big job. I’ve done it many times. It’s always satisfying when it’s finished. Glad to see you were keeping up your electrolyte levels whilst you were doing this important work. Thanks CP , I'll use a buffer on a drill for the rest of it. It is satisfying to see the result. I'm not sure about the hydration...had I have carried on I think there may have been an , enthusiasm vs ability problem. Seasons greetings CP to you and yours...take care.
