 In truth, the rear view of a fanned peacock is already a little comical... well done mate , you displaced a 747-8 I will tell him, he loves being praised. The Rodney tag came from a neighbour whose daughter attached it. Nobody would think of calling him anything different. And it goes beyond that - he is mascot and anchor tenant for what will become another Cornwall Park, in 100 years time. The district is fully engaged.

I am not a big fan of Daylight Saving for the reasons you mention. Takes me weeks to figure out why the sun is in the wrong place, twice a year. There's always things you can tweak in your lifestyle . Grumpy is allowed, too.

They say you know a lot about a person by going through their trash. But a temporary mancave ... Marty one could write a whole tome around that visual history.

Thanks deeknow ....I'll give it a few days, and if nothing happens I'll break open the bags and just build the engines, which is pretty much what I plan for the big 1/6 scale one. Would be great if Tamiya would re release their engine models for these bikes... they are around on E-Bay etc, but for insane prices .

Cheers Charl...I love them, so hard to resist when I find a different one on sale. I've read all the detailed care instruction's, and pretty much ignored them...they get a little water once a week, and they are doing well. This is my second bloom from each plant...I think they can feel the love.

………… All of my hobbies really stem from my interest in photography, all the way back to my Miranda SLR in high school. Recently I read a post of mine from 20 years ago where I mentioned a camera that I don't remember owning... I do have a nice DSLR nowadays, but sometimes it's easier to reach for the phone. The photography mode in FS2024 must pique your interest then Rob.

I have stuff arriving frequently for my fixed based sim, mostly out of OZ and China. I avoid more than NZD1000 so don't get hit with duty. Cubesim in China have been excellent and send me multiple parcels if the value is too high and I just pay a bit of extra freight. Although they do tend to go the long way round the world for some reason.

Thanks Charl and CP. I guess in this case, and many others...what Wall Street wants...Wall Street gets. As you said CP, Boeing was run by engineers, it was an engineering company....and still is I suppose, but not like it was.

Many places worldwide have recognised it's no fun for anyone to have a succession of tourist bombs dropped in your sleepy village. A tourist fee might discourage some, but at the very least there's some money to be dropped in the local economy. I guess there's some kind of balance to be found - I'm all for a tourist annual quota. Omaka 25 sounds like fun... :plane:
