That particular crash was caused by the Pitot Static's being covered by tape while they were cleaning the aircraft. SQ350

QUOTE(Trolly @ Sep 3 2007, 12:01 PM) It would be good to see some rare aircraft over here again- hopefully a few in AKL but I expect the majority will go down to Welly to see the politicans won't they? BTW, just read this interesting article over at PPRUNE related at APEC: yeah in the nicest possible way with a sidewinder up the tailpipe!!! /ninja.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= :ph43r: border= 0 alt= ninja.gif />

It may not be in production untill 2009, but there is already a flight sim version up on Avsim today: Cessna's new Light Sport Aircraft, announced in July 2007 and due for initial delivery in 2008. This FSDS model for FS2004 is based on pictures of the aircraft shown at Oskosh and in Cessna's brochures. Designed primarily as an AI aircraft, (which gives me an excuse for the lack of detail ;-) the flight characteristics were developed using Gerry Beckwith's AirWrench and closely approximate those published by Cessna. Several LOD models and a reduced detail shadow are incorporated,...

QUOTE(Alex @ Aug 29 2007, 10:18 AM) And probably more than two aircraft if they are to branch out from their current three routes I think. /winkyy.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= ;) border= 0 alt= winkyy.gif /> So, for the meantime I think we can expect to see little or no change in PB's routes. /smile.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= :) border= 0 alt= smile.gif /> Alex yup, but they are talking about getting these route established, and their routes set and safe in aussie, then once they have done that they are talking about bringing in emberiers into the smaller...

QUOTE(ZK-KAG @ Aug 22 2007, 10:31 PM) I think the one your're thinking about is Flight Explorer ( ). It is US$10 a month for the most basic version, but this shows all aircraft in New Zealand airspace including Auckland Oceanic FIR. Its quite nifty and is really accurate. ~ZK-KAG~ /cool.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= B-) border= 0 alt= cool.gif /> yup thats it, was great for our rental business, but the boss didn't ant to pay the $10. we were watching the skyhawks buzz around, thats how long ago it was!!
