The open positions are for astronaut candidates to train for tours of duty on the International Space Station, the largest human spacecraft ever built. Hmmm what are they trying to imply here I wonder? I like the closing line of the ad though- NASA HAS SPACE FOR YOU /laugh.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= border= 0 alt= laugh.gif />

Haha, I "repainted" ZK-NCQ a while back (basically just stripped down a white paint and added a grey belly and a bit of dirt), which can be found at avsim under the filename airwork_nz.zip Its for the Tinmouse II 732 model, and includes an opening cargo door with cars inside it and everything.

Not sure about the tech crew, but I know the cabin crew have to be able to swim etc... they make them practise in the pool getting into liferafts etc. I would assume they would want the tech crew to be able to do the same... Having said that, I have not seen anything in any of the regulations or license requirements that specify that you need to be able to swim to hold PPL/CPL etc... I would recommend that you learn anyway, its a great skill to have... especially in a country like NZ with all the water!

Find it on youtube. I didn't actually think there are so many stupid people out there. There was some guy ages back claiming he flew for BA and it's a new thrust-vectoring helicopter.. Why would you even bother doing that?

Yeah that's not too good! Saw the topic on PPruNe and thought that it was the first story and someone had got the city wrong! Did the gear fold up again this time, the article's not entirely clear?

QUOTE(Trolly @ Sep 12 2007, 11:39 PM) Deja Vu? Well remembered Trolly! It's the same picture, alright, now mysteriously part of the STS-118 Shuttle Mission Imagery collection. It's a bit of a worry really - NASA disburses billions of dollars and they re-use old photos for the latest mission?? I am reminded of that American flag flapping gently on a lunar surface where no wind should blow... Conspiracy theory anyone?

Read this in the ODT this morning, you can help to find Steve! Just go here , click 'Work on Hits' and you are presented with a load of updated small satalite images for the area that he went missing in. You have to say whether or not the image contains anything of interest, and if it does, it will be submitted for further examination. I think you have to register first, but it only takes a few minutes.
