The word is that they were landing on the island at night on NVGs so that may have something to do with it too.... lots of traps when using those things. Interesting! Night Vision Goggles...>>> Seeing in the dark! Paul...(mostly in the dark).... :( ...!

Tasman Empire Airways Limited (TEAL) was the forerunner of Air New Zealand. Ahhhhh For a moment, I thought you meant Trans Tasman airline which mean I had to look for Trans Tasman airline liveries. Good to know that you mean TEAL which I already have TEAL liveries for freeware DC-8s. Hope this assists in getting the idea of parking Historical aircraft that would no longer use the current modern Terminal design Apron Stands. You can bet that your previous posts contain such fantastic and such extremely helpful facts that will do great to guide me to recreate most realistic parking spots or...

I saw it in the advance publicity for Avalon, but I realised I wouldn't be able to get there, and never thought to mention it. Mebbe in 2021. Focus is on Omaka at the moment, and straight after getting back I will have to head 1300km south to the daughter's place, with a couple of compulsory side- visits en route.
