Nice Zöltuger, hmm still can't stop that cartoonish look some fsx aircraft have.. The CRJ700 is certainly one of the better fsx defualt aircraft, the interior is prety poorly done thow, perhaps you could redo the interior textures too? :P Have you tried doing VC textures yet? Some fsx aircraft really do need an interior repaint!

I forgot to say: in Stewart's readme he talks about the fact that flying along with AI affects the AI programmed flight. I've never seen that mentioned, so 1 mark to you Stewart! You have to wonder: WHY?? but there are amazing anomalies in the world of AI. (Especially for landing, you have to turn first onto base when flying alongside AI, otherwise you will end up at one of the Poles) All the best with your Alberts Project, see you in South America.

ummm...well yes....but it is a lot more data (i.e. It wouldnt load any faster in FS9 with the same amount of data) On top of that, FSX is doing a lot more rendering- The processor power needed just to calculate all the shadows of the small hills etc must be pretty huge..... FSX certainly is a test of your system! But the results are worth it....that sort of visualisation quality from a product that costs $100 NZD is phenominal. As i said before, 3D visualisation software from a GIS vendor (such as ESRI) costs many tens of thousands of dollars per license and the results arent as...

After a very close race indeed we at Flightsim.com beat Avsim by a mere 49 minutes! Sim Outhouse were not far behind that. The standard of flying and planning was the best yet and the most exciting race ever. A huge thanks to Avsim and Sim Outhoise for being such worthy competitors. Here's a link to the Virtual Tornado Trophy  :plane:  :D

Cool, hope you like them. Still open to ideas as well, so if people have an aircraft from the FSX default fleet they want to see, let me know. If you check the FSX page on flightsim.co.nz you will see the skins in the pipeline, so check there first before posting new requests. Cheers.

I forgot to say, I made a mistake with my readme, I improvised it from my NZMF one. Just need to say sorry Jon for saying I used one of your textures when I actually didn't. Hope it doesn't matter.

Lets remember, duel/quad core processors are of no more benefit when running FSX than a single, the developers have made it clear FSX does not utilize this ability. That is not quite true... if I have a core 2 duo... and FSX is busy sucking up all the CPU cycles on one core... then the other one is free to run all the spyware/adware/malware without affecting my frame rates <_< Ooh er, you're right - and I bet I won't have to pull the network cables every time I want to fire up the Cessna! Yess
